The gardens are beautifully cared for, and the accommodation blends old and new so naturally. We felt like special guests in the couple’s home. They’re two of the nicest people I’ve met, and the husband cooked delicious food to suit our tastes. The homemade raspberry cheesecake was amazing. It’s a bed and breakfast with tea and dinner too, and I’d happily recommend staying.

The room was comfortable and the location was very quiet. It would’ve been great to have a lock on the screen door so we could leave it open for fresh air through the night, which was lovely. One caution: there’s a step almost as soon as you enter Suite 1. My partner nearly tripped because we didn’t know it was there, and their long stride didn’t help. A small warning would’ve been useful.

The breakfast they provided was probably the best I’ve had at a B&B. The room was lovely too, and the gardens looked amazing, though we didn’t have time to walk around them. The couple running the place were very kind, even giving us a personalised card wishing us a happy New Year as we left.

The hosts were warm and professional, and the peaceful gardens made it easy to relax. Inside, there were quality linens and bathroom products, plus a delicious cheese platter to welcome us and a very good breakfast. It’s a lovely, stylish B&B. I’d recommend it for a romantic break or for anyone wanting a bit of luxury at an affordable price.

The hosts were delightful and breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotless, nicely equipped, and had a very comfortable bed. A lovely stay, highly recommended.
