The staff were cheerful and really helpful at check-in, and the facilities were clean. We used the park as a base for day trips and stayed 10 nights. Our site, number 16, was a little uneven but manageable. The park is a few kilometres from town. My one suggestion is drainage along the back of the sites on the southwest side, including ours, since water runs downhill from the other campers. It’s fine unless you’re below them.

Cabin 16 worked well for our one-night stay, with a large parking space right beside it that was handy while towing a camper. The cabin was nice and very functional. The only issue I noticed was that the bedside light on the side of the main bed nearest the door didn’t work. Everything else was good, around 4.5 to 5 stars.

The shops were only a short drive away, which made everything easy. Our cabin was spacious, peaceful and comfortable, with plenty of room to move around. We both slept like a dream.

A pleasant, helpful lady checked us in. This is a small park that works well for a stopover, with clean amenities and sites that are reasonably easy to park a van on. There are only a few spots where you can stay hitched up with a longer van. The grass needed cutting and held a lot of dew overnight. There isn’t much nearby, and it’s about a 2 km walk to the main shopping strip.

Mechanical trouble left me stuck at the caravan park for weeks back in July. The managers were so kind and helpful, driving me to the supermarket, checking on my vehicle and picking me up. I really appreciated their help.
