The cabin beds were extremely uncomfortable and outdated, and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all. The on-duty stand-in manager was disturbingly rude, especially to children. He got angry when we said the BBQ bottle had no gas, and repeatedly told the kids off for playing, using floats and enjoying the pool. On a summer evening, the pool was closed before dusk, which was very disappointing. His treatment of the disabled children was the most upsetting part. At 7:45pm on a summer evening, he rudely questioned why they were outside playing. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, and the kids eventually felt they couldn't go outside, so they stayed confined to the cabin. It felt like we were constantly being watched and doing something wrong. He complained about “too much Christmas rubbish” in the bins, even though the area outside his own cabin was a mess. The whole stay felt stressful instead of relaxing. His attitude alone means we wouldn't return or recommend the place.

The place was spotless, and we loved the great pool and the new managers. It's just a short bike ride into town for us. Great spot, we loved it.

Linda and James, the new park managers, made us feel welcome every day. Nothing was too much trouble, from my call to arrange an early check-in through to the morning we left. The camp kitchen is fantastic, with an indoor BBQ, so even during total fire bans we could have a BBQ on Australia Day. Thanks to both of them for being such great managers. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in a two-bedroom cabin. Parking was tight, though they offered us a spot out front. The site was tidy and the cabin was neat enough, but the floor had a few cuts and the towel rail had a dent. During our final check before leaving, I found a sock under the bed that wasn't ours.
