Snowdream Motel

I’m disappointed by how I was treated when I arrived at the hotel at night. I’d mistakenly booked the room for the night of 9th june 2025 instead of the 8th, and only realized the error while I was on my way. I had already paid for the reservation, but the front desk refused to adjust the payment or offer compensation. If I wanted to stay that night, they demanded nearly double the original price. The receptionist was rude and aggressive. He shouted at me and said, “Do whatever you want,” instead of listening or trying to find a solution. I felt that the payment I’d already made was being ignored, and that the staff were taking advantage of me when I needed help. I hope the hotel will investigate this seriously. I’m asking for a full explanation and a fair resolution, ideally a refund or at least recognition of the amount already paid. I believe customers should be treated with respect and dignity, and that didn’t happen here.

The cleaning and condition were beyond what I expected, and Michael was very friendly and responsive about everything. Three of us stayed for 2 nights on our way to snow mountain, and slept well in comfortable surroundings. Great value for money, and we’d come back.

Really nice, cosy motel. From my experience, it’s one of the best places to get a good rest when visiting Perisher / Thredbo.

Cosy, budget accommodation with everything you need. The hosts made us feel very welcome. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back.
