The bay view right in front of the house was lovely, and the house, beds, bathroom and kitchen were clean. One double bed is in the living room, while the bedroom has two single beds. The only drawback for us was that the toilet is separate from the bathroom.

Renee and Shane were lovely hosts, and were happy to drive us to and from town. It’s only a short distance away. We had a really nice weekend here, with awesome ocean views just as the name promises. The place is roomy and comfortable, with great beds and linen and a hot shower. It had everything we needed while away from home.

We were driving along the coast to Launceston and chose to stay overnight in Bicheno. Staying at Ocean View Retreat turned out to be one of our best decisions. We caught the sunrise from bed, enjoyed the ocean scenery from the hilltop and liked the neatly decorated garden at the front. The house was clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful time in this lovely town, and highly recommend it.

We spent 12 nights here and have already booked another stay for next year. The water views are stunning, and the place was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. Lee and Sophie were helpful, great hosts. Highly recommend, and thanks!
