We had a lovely two-night stay, and Brian made us feel at home as soon as he greeted us. It's a serene mountain hideaway, with the town just a stone's throw away and fine dining close by, though long, slow walks are the order of the day. The clean, cosy room had a magical feel and plenty of thoughtful extras that made the visit more enjoyable. Brian goes out of his way to make the stay memorable. We look forward to coming back.

A bottle of red wine and chocolates were waiting for us when we arrived, a lovely touch for our romantic getaway. The room was spotless, with white sheets and linen and a sparkling white spa bath, and we had free WiFi too. It's tucked away on a quiet, secluded road in Blackheath, with plenty of nature around. We'd definitely return.

We had a reservation issue at check-in, but Brian quickly jumped in to sort it out and kept smiling. That's the sort of host this place has: local honey, wine, freshly baked bread, even a little port before bed. It feels like the old-fashioned B&B experience and made us feel at home in the mountains. The spa bath was a great feature and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll be back as soon as we can.

Such a calm, private place for a romantic couples' escape. We felt very comfortable and cared for, and loved the thoughtful touches and country-style elegance. It was everything my partner and I had hoped for, a dream come true. Thank you for it all 🙏 Highly recommended.

A quiet, safe escape that would suit a couple or someone travelling alone. Our two-night getaway was lovely, and the quaint little room had more nice extras than we expected: fresh sourdough, red wine, port and a great spa.
