Watersmeet Homestead

The house is okay, with three double bedrooms and a bunk room with four single beds. The kitchen and living room are comfortable, there are plenty of views, and the kitchen is modern with a dishwasher. There's also a washing machine and dryer. Internet comes from a Telstra 4G modem. It's slow with a poor signal, but reliable. The showers were awful, with poor pressure and water that kept changing temperature. The bathroom sinks were blocked and took ages to drain. The location is beautiful, but the place tries hard to look upmarket with Kmart decorations. Still, it's a fair place for a weekend with a group if you mainly want to hang out and wander through nature.

We had the loveliest girls' weekend at Watersmeet. It has everything you might need to make a stay comfortable, and the views are sensational. You can hike around the property and keep finding breathtaking scenery. The wood-burning fire made the cooler nights especially cosy. Gather some friends, bring plenty of food and drink, and tuck yourselves away to explore this beautiful hinterland spot. You won't regret it.

We got in late, so waking up to a sunrise over the mountains and cattle was a lovely surprise. Watersmeet Homestead is a great place to kick back and relax. The property is well equipped for either a short or long stay. The fireplace and generous deck stand out, and the beds are super comfortable. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious too. We had a lovely weekend and can't wait to come back.

This homestead made a perfect getaway, with a beautiful view, great accommodation, and lots of good hiking paths. There were plenty of comfortable beds too. A great choice if you want to reconnect with nature and satisfy your sense of adventure.
