The car would have been more comfortable and safer than this disgusting place. Every surface was sticky, the sheets were stained and yellowed, and the bed seemed like it was from 1940. The TV didn’t work, and the air conditioning was out. There was also an overpowering fly spray smell that made it unpleasant to sleep. I stayed here years ago and it wasn’t great then, but now it’s a health hazard. Stay anywhere else. 1/10.

We dropped in at 7:45 pm, just before the kitchen closed, and Lisa at the front counter was more than happy to help us get four meals. The service was quick and the food tasty. We met some locals and had a great night.

The rooms are quite old and don’t seem to have had any upgrades, though they’re okay to stay in. The motel is right by the motorway, which is a great location. When we booked, we were offered different prices depending on how close the room was to the highway. We arrived late and found the room lock wasn’t working. It was too late to get help, but management needs to make sure rooms can be locked.

After six hours of driving, we needed somewhere to rest and unfortunately chose this motel as a last resort. The sheets looked clean, but the rest of the room was disgusting. The shower was filthy, the bathroom wall had mould, cobwebs and broken plaster, and the sink was stained brown. The curtains, meant to be pink, were brown, crooked and missing hooks. Do not stay there.

The room was tidy and clean, but I was told the TV was only for checking email, so there was no TV to watch. We checked in at 5:30 pm and couldn’t watch anything before bed. Very disappointing.
