Absolutely appalling stay. The restaurant was closed, the bar food was disgusting, and staff were rude and didn’t care when I raised issues. There was mold in both the bathroom and bedroom, a moldy smell, and drain flies. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly, and the brush was dirty with poo stains. Every door slamming in the hotel could be heard. The pool was closed during our stay, then reopened on the last day, but we were only told when we arrived. There was still tile silicone on the steps, which got on my body and stained my new swimmers. I had to rub very hard to get it off.

We’d happily stay again. The price was very reasonable, the grounds were lovely and well maintained, and the views over the golf course and hills were beautiful. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were friendly. They kindly arranged the quiet room I’d asked for, which I really appreciated. We were in room 244, a twin queen with plenty of space, a huge bathroom with a shower, and quality fittings. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows pretty good too. We had a burger and steak for dinner in the bar. My only comment is that the fitness centre is quite small, with only a couple of machines. We stayed on Valentine’s Day for a little getaway.

Six stars! Our New Year’s plans fell through, and we needed somewhere at the last minute. The two women at the front desk went out of their way to fit us in and save our celebration. Their kindness and hospitality meant so much, and we can’t thank them enough. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.

The setting was modern and stylish, with a great atmosphere, and the service was wonderful. We had a fantastic stay over the Australia Day long weekend. It was easy to get there, and there was plenty of parking right in front of reception. Josie was warm and helpful at check-in. Our first room faced the carpark, so we asked about switching to a lake-view room. Even on a busy night, Josie checked and offered us an upgrade. The view was amazing, and we really appreciated it. The bar staff were friendly too, and made us some lovely cocktails.
