The park is a beautiful spot with lots of space, well-kept amenities, and plenty to do. I’d visited several times in the middle of winter for a rally and always wanted to come back with my family when it was warmer. It lived up to that hope.

It’s a decent campground, with plenty of room and a nice beachside location. The upgraded showers and toilets are good, and the water pressure’s strong. Getting hold of the office was hit or miss, though. They rarely answered the phone, and messages left when the office was closed didn’t get a call back.

The location was spot on, with a huge beach just metres away and Eden only a few minutes’ drive, but without the noise. Our site was level, spacious, clean, and well maintained. I was in a tent, so I can’t speak to the rooms, though I’m sure they’re just as good. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the facilities were incredible for the price: $10p/n for an unpowered site, or $20p/n powered on the offseason deal. There’s a big camp kitchen with several ovens and sinks, plus a lounge, TV, fridge and freezer, and dining tables. The multiple amenities blocks were exceptionally clean, with hot showers and great water pressure. Easily the best caravan park I’ve camped at. The service was fantastic too.

You can walk to the beautiful Seahorse Inn from this superb caravan park. It’s right on the beach at Boydtown, Twofold Bay, with powered sites as well as plenty of camping spots for people who are self-sufficient. The kitchen is excellent, and there’s a laundry with washers and dryers. The bathroom facilities are brand new, with ramps at both.

You can hear the waves from your site, and some spots have a view of the beach through the trees. There are two dump points, a large fireplace for everyone to use (or you can bring or hire your own), and a big BBQ area with sinks and tables. The modern camp kitchen has cooking facilities and plenty of tables too. The only real downside is that the kitchen’s open from 9am to 9pm, so breakfast use is out. Cleaning could be a little better as well. The facilities are cleaned daily and are very clean, but the kitchen bins weren’t emptied, there were food scraps from the night before, and empty paper towel wasn’t replaced. Still, not enough to knock off a star. It’s a great caravan park, a short drive from Eden, with large sites and lots of room around them. The newer facilities are all in wonderful condition. Definitely worth a stay if you’re nearby or passing through.
