Bathrooms and communal kitchens were spotless, even though they’re shared. There’s a piano for anyone aspiring to be a virtuoso, and the tram stop is right at the front door. It’s possibly one of the cheapest places to stay in Canberra, but still comfortable and clean, within walking distance of the CBD and Lonsdale St food outlets.

Really good value, especially for a solo traveller. The room, bathroom, and kitchen were impressively clean, and the key reader card worked for everything. The person at reception was friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of parking. There was a heater, though I didn’t see a fan.

The rooms, shared toilets, shared kitchens, towels and beds were clean. But there’s no air conditioning in the room, which I didn’t think to check. I’d never have expected a commercial accommodation place to be without basic AC these days. A booking in the middle of summer wouldn’t be a great fit.

The room was clean, comfortable, and practical, and the light rail was only a two-minute walk away. I felt lucky to get this as a cancellation on a busy weekend. Great value in a central spot.

Good spot for a short stay, really convenient. The room was simple, with a clean, nice queen-size bed and a sink. The bathrooms are shared.
