Big4 Tasman Holiday Parks - Bright

The staff at BIG4 Tasman Holiday Park Bright were so welcoming. They even surprised me with sparkling wine for my birthday, such a thoughtful touch that made the day extra special. The park is beautiful and peaceful, with a great spot for a relaxing getaway. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bright.

We stayed in one of the newly renovated cabins, and it was supremely comfortable. The beds and furnishings are first rate. With its unbeatable location and a coffee caravan on site, this is a great choice for a family trip or a work stay. Highly recommend it.

The staff were helpful and very nice, and there’s even a coffee van on site. I stayed in a cabin, but the caravan sites looked spacious and well set up too. In all my travels, this is the cleanest, most modern and best equipped holiday park I’ve stayed at. Highly recommend!

At about 3 pm when we checked in, we noticed marks and hair on the bed sheets. The older woman at reception kindly changed the top sheet after we showed it to her. Later, around 9:30 pm, we were watching TV in bed when we started itching and spotted small bugs across the mattress. I killed four with toilet paper, then realised they were coming from several places around the bed. We didn’t see any in the living area, on the sofa or elsewhere in the cabin. There were termites throughout the bed in the luxury cabin. We called the after-hours number, and Fion came to look. He was kind and agreed it was far from ideal, suggesting we move to another cabin as soon as possible. At 11 pm we had to pack everything and set up in the new cabin, which didn’t have the luxury features of the one we’d paid for. The next day reception said we’d be compensated for a full night, since we’d paid $350 per night. Later they took that back and refunded only $100. Terrible service for a $350-a-night luxury cabin. Being told they were flying ants, when there weren’t any elsewhere in the cabin and we’d kept the door closed all night, felt condescending. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOLIDAY PARK.
