We stayed four nights, even though the chalet is a little tight for space, because it was such a lovely place. It's a precious little spot in a beautiful, rustic woodland setting, and very comfortable with everything we needed. The shared walking and bike path runs right by it, and it's far enough outside Bright to be quiet and away from the tourist crowds. They have bikes available too, though we brought our own. A perfect getaway.

Cosy, comfortable rooms, and a handy spot close to both Bright and Porepunkah. Great choice for a relaxing break, highly recommend.

The cabin had the basic things listed, and it didn't spoil our visit to Bright, but quite a few details could use attention. The reception area was a mess and smelled old and musty, and the outdated information wasn't reliable. The WiFi was poor, so I couldn't work from there while away. I had to clean an oily, meaty smell off the oven top, the water pressure was disgraceful, and the bed was incredibly hard. I took off the electric blanket with its hard coils, put the doona underneath as a makeshift topper, then added a sheet and blanket. I also swept away cobwebs outside. Maybe Julie could use some help getting the little things right. Hard to tell.

Julie was so kind and welcoming, and the place itself was just WOW. It was spotless, warm and cosy in winter, with everything we could possibly need. The location was beautiful and made it easy to get around everywhere. Thanks, Julie.

The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We especially liked the convenient setting, with lovely river walks and bike tracks nearby. We had a great time here and would definitely recommend it for unwinding and enjoying time in nature.
