I needed a place for the same day, saw the apartment listed as available, and booked and paid for it. About 10 minutes later I got a call saying it wasn't available. I was told to cancel through the booking app so the cancellation policy could be overturned and my money returned, but my booking has mysteriously disappeared, leaving me unable to request the cancellation as instructed. This feels like a big scam.

What a dump. Maybe someone could clear the mattress and other rubbish out of the car park?

If you're after overpriced rates, rude reception staff, and traffic noise and fumes from a service station running 24 hours, this is the place. There was rubbish outside the windows, the rooms were dark and musty, the toilet and shower were cramped, and the furniture, cutlery, and crockery looked like they'd come from an op shop.
