Hara House

Bright was very busy over New Years, but Hara House still felt like a peaceful Adults Only Haven. The Continental Breakfast was excellent, and there was an A La Carte option too, though we were happy with the continental one. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the owners have done a lovely job with the recent refurbishment and attention to detail. I also loved the relaxing pool area, and the massage at The Hara Spa was amazing. From Shannon’s welcoming smile to the warm care of the Fijian Staff members, everyone made it feel like a little slice of Fiji in Bright. Weise at the Tiki Bar was so fun and couldn’t do enough for us. We loved our stay, and I’d highly recommend Hara House.

Dinner and the simple breakfast setup were both really good, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and nicely styled, while the pool and shared areas had a boutique resort feel. The recent renovation looks fantastic, with a cool, quirky style and loads of attention to detail. We had a great stay at Hara House and would absolutely come back.

I was in Bright for a cycling weekend and had a great time at Hara house. The accommodation is recently renovated, very cool and comfortable, and they’ve clearly paid attention to all the details, from the rooms to the pool, bar and restaurant. It’s also so close to town. Highly recommended.

We loved the fun decor and style, and the location was ideal. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the pool and tiki bar were a great way to relax after a very hot day. The margaritas let us down a bit, though, since the cup was only half full and had no ice. We stayed one night and were told the restaurant wouldn’t be open on Saturday. That was disappointing, as we’d booked hoping not to head out at night after a big day adventuring. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and spacious rooms despite those few letdowns.
