The cottages sit on a lush little block just outside the centre of Bright and feel very private. It's a great base for cyclists and mountain bikers, with space to wash bikes in the garden and store or work on them on the patio. There's also a laundry shared by all the cottages.

We chose this lovely little venue for our elopement, and the gardens made a wonderful setting for photos. Amanda and James did a fantastic job. The cottage was incredibly cute, the grounds even better, and the management was spot on. I couldn't fault the place. I'd recommend it to everyone and would stay here whenever I need somewhere in the area.

The cottages are exquisite, beautifully kept and so thoughtfully set up to make guests comfortable. Our hosts seemed to have considered everything. We'll definitely be back.

The owner's response trying to work out who I was made me glad my Google account is under JB. I didn't enjoy my interactions with the owner.

Magnolia Cottage was just right, private, easy to get to, and with its own balcony and little garden. The bed was the most comfortable ever, and it had everything we needed. Town is a short walk away. A special thanks to Amanda for the surprise champagne for my 40th, such a lovely touch.
