Before and after our son's and daughter in law's wedding, our family spent 4 wonderful days at Brookfield Retreat. Lara and Tom gave us lovely hospitality, and the place was just what we needed. There were lots of ways to relax together, with the bar, pooltable, table tennis, swimming pool, and a great theatre room. We also loved wandering around the beautiful gardens. The newlyweds had their own lovely studio suite, and being so close to Bundaleer Rainforest gardens made everything convenient. It was such an easy, relaxed stay, and we highly recommend Brookfield Retreat.

We spent the last 4 nights at Brookefield Retreat, a beautiful oasis that was even better than we expected. Our group had 13 adults and 5 kids, and it’s rare to find somewhere that can host a large group while giving all ages a great getaway. The whole property was immaculate, and the photos really don’t do it justice. We can’t wait to go back! ♥️

We had relatives coming from all over the country and the world, and Brookfield Retreat in Brisbane was a perfect place to bring everyone together for a family reunion. The property was neat, tidy, and clean, with all the facilities we needed. Lara was a wonderful host. Nothing seemed too difficult when we asked for help, and she gave us ideas for local activities and sightseeing. We’ve all agreed to meet at Brookfield Retreat for future reunions. Thanks for everything, Lara. See you again.

There wasn’t much freedom during our stay, since she wanted us to keep as quiet as mice. The cupboards and beds were broken, and I politely let her know without expecting anything to be fixed. Then, without any further communication, she made a claim through Air bnb for $1500 over a carpet. It felt like she was trying to squeeze money out of every guest. Honestly, not worth the trouble.

I loved the garage floor. All the rooms are great, but the spa bath needs a rail. Out the back, where the possum sleeps, I couldn’t see the steps and fell, hurting my knee and elbow, and my right side ribs are very sore. Please put a light under the steps and a warning at every step. Thanks for having me, and I’ll come back.
