The Glen Hotel & Suites

We hadn't been to the Glen for years and were impressed by the renewed interior. The deck and playground area were understandably fully booked, so we ate in the Lily Restaurant instead. The food was great and reasonably priced, and everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. Dessert was wonderful too. They were very busy and sometimes forgot things we asked for, like cutlery or the dessert menu, but that's a minor issue. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we'll definitely return. The Santa visits were exciting for the kids and a great idea.

We keep coming back because the place feels welcoming and cozy, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic every time, especially the pizzas. It's become our regular spot. Highly recommend if you want great food and a lovely experience.

We had a family get-together with people travelling from around SEQ and overseas, and it worked really well. We sat in the Gazebo area, which was a great spot just for our family and made it easy to chat. The venue has different seating areas, varied food and drink options, and easy access from nearby motorway connections. Everyone, across all ages, enjoyed the food, from Ceasars Salad and pizza to 18 hour Slow cooked brisket and plenty in between. There's also a playground for kids. It didn't disappoint.

It was raining when we visited, so there were quite a few mosquitoes. Bring mosquito spray as a heads-up. Parking was easy, and having a gelato place nearby made dessert convenient. They didn't have special promotions that day, but there are daily specials depending on the weekday, so check ahead. They also have a kids' menu. There were several children's birthday parties at the hotel restaurant that evening, so it was lively. That suited us, since our daughter happily played with the other kids. The outdoor playground is a good size, not too big, so parents can keep an eye on the children while eating. We felt relaxed. Prices were reasonable too, making it an easy place to pop out for a casual wine or beer without pressure. It was a comfortable, family-friendly dinner.
