We also managed to take the skytrain into the city for a couple of hours. The hotel is close to it, and the location worked well for our domestic flight home the next morning. The buffet breakfast and dinner were good and fairly priced. We came back early in the morning from an overnight international flight with a bub and needed an early check-in. The staff were friendly and helpful and got it sorted quickly. Our room was clean and well equipped. A good option if you're travelling domestically or internationally and want to stay near the airport while keeping access to the city.

For a supposed budget hotel, the rate was more like inner city five star accommodation, well over $200 a night for a basic room. Mine didn't even have proper hot water in the shower, just a weak, slightly tepid flow. There were glasses and tea and coffee, but no room service or real dining setup. The restaurant seating is very limited and it gets extremely busy. There's little else nearby besides the airport, or the Pulman next door, whose restaurant is also small and busy. The Ibis restaurant offers takeaway, but the wooden cutlery was a nuisance and my lamb chops were as tough as any I've had. The packaging didn't fit in the room's rubbish bins either. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the staff pleasant and helpful, but the room and dining options didn't justify the premium price. I doubt I'll stay again.

I booked a night before an early flight and arrived in the afternoon. Check-in was easy, and the room was ready, clean, and comfortable, with a good bathroom and a comfy bed. The blackout blinds worked well and it was quiet at night. Oddly, there was only one bedside table, even though there was room for another. Parking costs extra, and the meals were good but expensive. I skipped breakfast because of my early flight. The airport isn't far, and there is a shuttle, though we had our own car. I'd recommend it for an overnight stay.
