This place is a hidden gem, absolutely beautiful, with rooms that feel homely, clean and fresh. The bed was spotless and super comfy, and the pillows were big, soft and fluffy. The room facilities were all great, even the cups and glasses felt nice rather than cheap. The large spa bath worked well and was relaxing after a stressful day. The pool was refreshing, tidy and extremely clean, with lounge seats and a separate spa pool. The lights at night gave it a welcoming, resort-like feel. We had a very late check-in, and the staff were friendly, understanding and accommodating. They got us checked in and then left us alone for the rest of the night and morning, which we loved. There were plenty of car parks, and shops and restaurants weren’t far away. We had dinner at Eagleby Tavern, five minutes down the road, and the food and service were amazing, well worth a visit. Sorry, no room photos, but they were really nice, trust me, I’m fussy lol.

The manager and housekeeper were friendly and helpful whenever I needed them. I had a fun four-day stay, with comfy beds, fluffy towels, a refreshing, clean spa and pool, a good TV and free wifi. The Hyperdome and other shops or cafes are only 5-10 minutes away. The rooms are near the highway, but I slept fine. For what it is and what I paid, it does the job. A few small gripes: the rooms are basic, cramped and a bit small, my door was hard to open, and the food and drink at reception tasted weird. On my second night the air conditioner shut off randomly on a timer.

Rowan's room service breakfast was the best part of our stay. The motel was easy to reach just off the highway in Loganholme, and the location worked well for us. Our room was spotless, and the staff were so friendly.

After our Surfers Paradise hotel cancelled on a Saturday night during the school holidays, I tried calling a few motels without any luck. Puffers Inn simply said, “Sure, no problem,” and even added a bed for our second son. The room was neat and very clean, and the service was spot on. Thanks to everyone there.
