Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill

Belle at the front desk welcomed me warmly when I arrived after driving in from the airport. She explained everything clearly and warned me about the maze of yellow pillars in the car park, which was useful since I didn’t hit one with my rental car. The room was clean and just what I needed, with a comfortable bed. I was disappointed to learn on arrival that the restaurant was closed for renovations, since that was why I originally booked. It might be worth mentioning on the website. Breakfast the next morning was okay. The guy at reception greeted me as I passed by to get coffee from the cart, and the young woman serving there was great. The team made the stay welcoming and delightful. I’ll have to come back next time! 😂

We all enjoyed the hotel’s location during our two-night stay in December 2025, before heading off on our cruise. My husband and I were part of a group of eight, and everyone was happy with where the hotel was. The park and train station nearby made for very pleasant surroundings, and we enjoyed having breakfast outdoors. The staff were attentive and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I’ve stayed here several times, and the service has been great each time. The rooms are really nice for the price. Some open straight onto the pool, and my most recent room was almost an apartment: two separate rooms, two TVs, and two balconies for well under $200 a night. Hard to beat. The only letdown is the token effort of a gym, with two treadmills, a bike, and not much else.

A handy place to stay if you’re going to Brisbane Private Hospital, since Mercure gives you a discount and that helps a lot. The staff give useful advice, and check-in and checkout are easy. Parking is $25 a day. It’s an easy walk to a coffee shop or to catch the free Circular bus into the city. Roma Street trains and buses are also within walking distance.
