We just love this place. The rooms are well kept and quiet, and ours had a great river view. It's an easy walk to South Bank and the CityCat, with the railway and bus station nearby too. West End is only one bus stop away and has plenty of lovely restaurants.

Three rings were taken from the bedside table in my room by cleaning staff. The managers knew from the access cards who had entered and when, but their only response was to ask those staff to write on a scrap of paper that they hadn't taken the jewellery. They were the only people with access to the room, and I was offered no other solution. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my belongings in a room staff can access after this.

The valet team set a welcoming tone as soon as we arrived. They were friendly and efficient, and that warmth made the stay feel easy. Rydges South Bank is also really convenient for a show, with QPAC just a short, simple walk away. We enjoyed strolling along South Bank afterwards, too. Comfortable and well placed in the city's cultural heart, with people who seem to care about the service.

My sister and I stayed on level 2 for two nights and couldn't find anything to fault. The room was huge and had a balcony, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. We caught the cat everywhere.

We'd definitely stay again. The rooms were spacious, and we loved being close to the bars, restaurants and shops. The South Bank water area was fabulous for the kids. It was our wedding anniversary, and the wine waiting on arrival was such a lovely touch that made it feel special. Parking was pricey and room service wasn't the best, though.
