The price doesn't feel justified, and I don't think they behaved honestly. After I sent feedback, they said they'd return my deposit a few days before the seven-day period they legally have, but five days later I still hadn't received it. They then asked me to change my review on the booking website. The advertised apartments are disappointing. What they call studios are old, run-down hotel rooms, with only a microwave and tiny fridge for a kitchenette, no shelf space and no sink. The room had broken ducted air conditioning, so they'd wheeled in an old portable unit that was noisy and didn't cool the place. None of this was mentioned in the ads or before my stay. Other reviews show people had raised the AC issue for months, with nothing done. The towels were old, dusty and shedding, the carpet smelled dusty, the furnishings were chipped and damaged, and even the curtains had broken hooks.

I paid $800+ for four nights, which felt like too much for the condition and size of the room. This is listed as apartments, but all I had was a small room inside the Sebel hotel, separately owned and managed as S&P apartments. The hotel doesn't handle key pickup or anything else about the apartment. It seemed the owners might be out of the country, based on the emergency contact details. The room needs attention. The chair only has its wooden slat left, the curtains are very dirty and the bathroom exhaust fan doesn't work, leaving the whole room steamy. The shower is over the bath, with no hand rails to help getting in or out, so it won't suit someone with a disability. The internal air conditioner didn't seem effective; a portable one was provided, but it was too noisy to sleep with on. I could have moved to a nearby hotel for just $1,000.

We liked the comfortable, spacious apartment so much that we extended our stay. It was well priced and made it easy to get to the city and Southbank. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Highly recommended for a city stay.

Very central, clean, and with good amenities. A great place to stay, and one I'd recommend.

The host was quick to respond and proactive, and check-in and checkout were easy and flexible. I had a great stay in the center of the CBD and would happily come back.
