There's damage in our apartment that happened sometime between signing the lease and getting the keys. I've reported it many times, but nothing has been done. Management also doesn't tell tenants when maintenance will disrupt services. On several occasions the water pipes stopped working during maintenance and we weren't warned beforehand. They also don't know where the gas and hot water meter is, so we can't dispute our estimated bill. The management team is rude and unprofessional, and doesn't seem willing to do its job or help tenants. When I email about an issue, they contact my housemate instead, even though we're both on the lease and I always include my mobile number. That's when they actually follow up at all.

I lived there for four years, and my lease ended three weeks ago, but I still haven't received my bond. The property isn't cheap, yet the management team is extremely poor, impatient, and has no customer service spirit. When my lease was ending, I applied to move to another apartment in the same building for another year. They didn't reply to my application for two weeks, so I changed my mind and rented nearby instead. It's funny that there are so many vacant rooms in this terrible market, but they don't care about a good tenant like me. Over the past three weeks, I arranged cleaners twice. When I asked for a final inspection, they ignored my emails and calls, acted busy, and kept delaying. Then they asked me to repaint all the wall dents and scuffs. When I tried to arrange my own painter as requested, they said the work had to be very professional, like new building finishes. Jesus! They also tried to take an $800 cleaning fee from my bond, saying they normally don't need the tenant's permission. I found someone on the market who would do it for just $200. A horrible experience with an arrogant team and no customer service at all.

Use RTA compliant whenever you need to. If you know how it works, they seem to back off the request because they don't want trouble. Maybe they count on international students not knowing the rules. Ending a lease here can mean being charged for tiny scratches, light bulbs, or anything else they can claim isn't working, even if it was already broken when you moved in. They even charged for carpet discolouration from the sun. Once you're living here, it feels like you're doomed.

I'm 3'2", so when I went swimming I needed CPR. It was very lovely, cos ur mom gave it to me, and then we passionately started making out!!! Also, those low barriers are great, my friend bumped into one and I fell from the 11th floor. I went straight to the hospital, was in a coma for a couple months, and had to learn how to walk again. A great learning opportunity, really. And the fire alarms make a great 2am wake-up call :))).
