Cable Beachside Villas

When we had a medical emergency near the end of our holiday, Charlotte and Steve were so kind. They even drove us to the airport after we had to change our flights. Our villa was immaculate and had everything we needed for the week, and the pool was great with loads of space to sunbathe. I can’t recommend these villas enough. Thank you both again for your kindness.

We stayed three nights, from 15 - 18 June, and would happily return. The one-bedroom deluxe villa was spacious and comfortable, we slept well, and neither noise nor lights disturbed us. The WiFi worked well, and having a washing machine and clothes line in the villa was very handy. The woman at reception gave us a great welcome and offered lots of useful details about the accommodation, nearby bars, and transport without us even asking. The pool was lovely, and we enjoyed seeing little lizards scurrying around the grounds :)

The food was nice and the staff were good. I didn’t stay overnight in the accommodation, but it’s very close to the beach.

We booked expecting a peaceful break with our young family, but the stay was frustrating and disappointing. Although we’d specifically reserved a quiet villa, ours was right by the road and opposite a pub with loud live music until 11pm for the first three nights. It disrupted the kids’ sleep, and we were exhausted every day. When we complained, we were eventually offered a quieter villa farther back, but only for extra payment. The family who arrived after us was put straight into our original villa. It seemed they hadn’t paid for the more expensive villa we were moved to, so they got that upgrade free while we had to pay just to get the quiet setting we’d booked. It felt unfair, like a cash grab. I’d also booked a noon checkout, but was abruptly told it wasn’t possible. We had to leave by 10am and couldn’t even store our luggage for a couple of hours. There was no reception desk, it was hard to reach anyone, and our emails went unanswered. We were basically shown the door. The whole experience felt transactional and unsupportive, with little care for guest comfort. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.
