We’ll be back next time we’re in the area, and I’d happily recommend this place. The cabin was lovely, with plenty of space around it and quiet nights. It’s well placed for Kingscote’s attractions and for exploring farther out. We were thrilled to spot wild koalas in the trees on the property, including a baby. Brett was a great host, checking in each morning without intruding and always being available. He also shared some good stories from his 18 years in tourism. Thanks for a great stay.

For a clean, well-furnished cottage and a peaceful country stay, this is a good choice. Brett was a fantastic host and gave us useful tips on local sights and places to eat. Just to be clear, this isn’t five-star accommodation, but I’d highly recommend it if that’s the kind of quiet break you’re after.

Thanks, Brett, for being such a great host. This was the best accommodation we had on our seven-day road trip, and it’s pet friendly too. We had an awesome stay on KI and will definitely come back.

Brett made a great host, and the cottage had everything we needed. It was cosy, clean and quiet, with Kingscote and nearby venues close by. We loved staying here.
