The place is really comfortable and has all the modern conveniences. The views and location alone would earn Lumella five stars. Beautiful accommodation, and honestly, there's not much else to add.

We've stayed at Lumella twice now, as my partner and I make a weekend trip to Daylesford every year. It's a lovely villa with everything you need for a proper getaway. Such a cosy spot in a stunning setting, and we'll be back soon.

The night sky is a real highlight here. With no light pollution around the property, stargazing on a clear night is a treat, and you can even see the sky through the bedroom window. It looks like a beautiful painting on the wall. We loved our stay at Lumella. The facilities are top-notch, the view outside is spectacular, and it made for a relaxing, quiet holiday. We'd happily recommend it and would love to visit again soon.

The layout, decor, and finish are something to admire, and the views stretch all the way to the horizon, with Hepburn Wind Farm visible in the distance. It feels like an isolated haven up on a mountain, or really, a hill. There's a dedicated walking trail to Wombat Dam that's worth trying if you can follow the pink ribbons tied to the trees. Wildlife here isn't used to people, so the 'roos and birds may not want you getting close. Still, it's a perfect escape.

A huge, comfy deck off the lounge is a lovely place to watch the sunset, with that view over the hills and farms right there. We picked this as the first stop on our honeymoon road trip, and pulling up on the hill to all those trees and wildlife was a delight. Inside, the place is light and bright, with big windows everywhere. The kitchen's a great size for cooking at home and has a range of goodies to use. There's a massive bath, an even better shower, and a comfy lounge with a couch, floor cushions, and a cosy bean bag. Grab a drink and watch the world go by, with the distant wind turbines turning. You can have the fire going or use the aircon, depending on the weather. Through the huge barn door, there's a massive comfy bed and another big window overlooking the fire pit, hills, and farms. The styling is simple but elegant, and everything has its purpose without being over the top or drawing attention from the main thing, that view.
