The cleaners were lovely and helped my partner and me a lot. They seemed better suited to running the place than the business itself. We were in room 12, which felt tiny for the price. There were beetles coming out of the wall, holes near the TV and above the entry door, and an unfinished ceiling renovation that looked dated. Paint was peeling, including in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, the air conditioning was faulty, and there was a stain on the sheets. I asked for fresh ones and was happy to put them on myself, but found a piece of food stuck to them. Three people also tried to get into my room using the same key. I called the next day and got no answer, then emailed before the 10 am checkout. They replied that they could move us to room 1, but checkout was in an hour, so I asked for half my money back. I heard nothing after that. It’s overpriced, and the lack of response felt unprofessional. Maybe it works for a worker needing a quick stop, but it’s too small to enjoy.

Being right on the beachfront was a real treat, and the staff were amazing. They’re gradually updating this traditional 70s place into a smart, modern destination. Our fully self-contained unit was spotless and well equipped, and having laundry on site was handy. Good value and a great stay. We’ll be back!

The room was clean, and the linen was fresh. Jodie, our housekeeper, was lovely and helpful, and did a great job keeping it that way. The location is a big plus, right across from the beach. We stayed in room 11, which had a queen bed and was small but suitable for two. It’s near the outdoor kitchen, so there was noise until 10 pm and again from 6 am. The room felt very dated, especially the 1960s bathroom, and needs renovating. I thought it was overpriced for its quality.
