A really good dinner for three. The Parmi special with BBQ pork came with chips and salad, was huge, and tasted delicious for $25. The seasonal vege gnocchi with extra chicken was fresh and generously served. The chicken burger with chips looked okay. Drinks arrived cold and quickly. Thanks, Rosey, we had a great night.

The historic feel gives The Rose Hotel a nice atmosphere, and we had a lovely dinner there. I went with my girls for a relaxed, fun evening; the place felt welcoming and the outdoor seats were great for the nice weather. We all found something we liked on the menu, and the service was friendly. We’ll be back for more laughs and catch-ups.

We only went for dinner with family, since we’re locals and didn’t stay there. The venue was clean and pleasant, and the service was great. Happy hour from 5 to 6pm made drinks cheaper. My main was okay, but the vegetables were a bit hard and the Barramundi could’ve been better, with a lot of sauce. There was no Seniors dinner option. I also thought the kids’ meals were pricey at $14 each, though they’re $12 on Sundays. That adds up if you have lots of kids.

We had dinner at The Rose for a date and enjoyed it. The portions were so big that we couldn’t finish, but were able to take the rest away. There’s a varied food and drink menu, so we both found something we liked. It was a busy night, yet the staff stayed friendly and helpful.

The Fish and Chips was enormous, and our friends gave the steaks a thumbs up. We went for dinner with friends, and the staff stayed cheerful even when I mentioned our chips could’ve been hotter. The Rose Hotel has a great ambience, and some of the best Fish and Chips.
