We spent a lovely, peaceful stay tucked among the farm’s trees and paddocks, with town, wineries, breweries and beaches still close by. Watching the birds and animals from our bungalow with a glass of their wine was a great way to unwind. Lara and Jamie really went out of their way to make it memorable. The kitchen had what we needed to cook, even salt, pepper and olive oil. In the cooler evenings, the fireplace and rain tapping on the tin roof made it feel especially cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to couples who like a relaxing getaway and the option to prepare their own meals.

The outdoor tub was a hit with our young kids, especially with cows and a couple of days old calves in view. They also loved the morning feeding tour, and we all enjoyed the wine. We had a wonderful week at Burnside Organic Farm. The bungalows are thoughtfully equipped, particularly the kitchens, and the bedding was great. On arrival, there were fresh eggs, coffee and honey waiting for us. Thanks again for the warm welcome, Lara. Hopefully we’ll be back another time!

Being right on an organic farm gave the stay an immersive feel, and the rustic accommodation suited the region. It’s also a great base for visiting the Margaret River region. Lara and Jamie kept us very well informed, so we knew what to expect and check-in and checkout went smoothly. Highly recommended.

The kids made wonderful core memories here. We spotted cows, geese, pigs, rabbits and even kangaroos, and Lara, our lovely host, took us on a guided walk around the property on the second day. There’s also a forest track nearby for walking or jogging, connected to Wooditjup National Park. Our two-bedroom bungalow had a patio and swing, a nice spot to sit and have breakfast. The beds were clean and comfortable, with summer duvets, and town was only a quick 10-minute drive away for supplies. We had a great farm stay and would definitely recommend it.

Our son loved walking around the farm and helping feed the animals their “breakfast”. The bungalow was close to the grazing cows and sheep, and we had a wonderful stay at Burnside Organic Farm. Lovely hosts and accommodation.
