Travellers Rest Motel

The bed was firm, which was good, and there was hot water, two towels and a bar of soap. But if you need rest, make this your last resort. Check the map: you're right by the highway, hearing every truck, scooter, van and jeep, and the walls are so thin you hear everything your neighbour does. If you're travelling for work, don't stay here, as they don't provide shampoo or conditioner. This is why people use Airbnbs, in my opinion.

I was here for a few days on a work trip. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was yummy, and the staff were lovely. I'd happily stay again.

A handy option for the night. It's basic and clean, with what you need for a short stay. Some of the other units might suit a longer visit.

The beds were comfy and the air con worked well. The magpies were friendly, and a few bugs in the room are understandable when you're in the bush. There were some problems, though: the shower pressure wasn't great, the bath plug was too small so water kept escaping, and there was black mold on the kitchen windowsill. Cleanliness in general could be better. It also would've been nice to have shampoo and conditioner instead of just soap.
