Busselton Jetty Chalets

The bathrooms looked like new, and the rooms and kitchen were clean and well equipped. The place itself is very old, though. We also found a lot of mess underneath after moving the couches, so that might be an area the cleaners miss. The location and affordable price were great.

The place had a warm, welcoming feel, and I was genuinely impressed. The rooms were spacious, with a good-sized shower, smart TV and coffee machine. Soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were already provided in large bottles, which was really convenient. I came down for my cousin's wedding and found Bussleton Jetty Chalets among the more affordable options. The photos and reviews looked good, though I kept my expectations realistic. I've stayed in places in London and Paris, and honestly this was better than those. I can't fault it and definitely plan to return. Highly recommend 😊

We had to throw away food because the fridge wasn't working, and nobody was at reception on three mornings or in the afternoon to let us report it. On day four my partner found the cleaner, who gave us two extra towels to soak up the water from the fridge. When I eventually spoke to a woman, she was extremely rude and blamed me for not calling the number on the office door, which I hadn't seen. That was very different from the helpful woman who checked us in. I asked for the manager to contact me about the rudeness and am still waiting. There were red marks on the sheet near my feet, and the three-seater sofa was dirty underneath when we moved it to watch TV. There was only that one sofa for five people. The girls had left a couple of marks on their blankets and we were told we'd be charged 65, which I didn't object to, but it seemed odd given the visible marks on my sheet. The woman who called said it was urgent because the message was unclear, which worried me since my 83-year-old father was being cared for while I was away.

The place was nicely presented, and the staff were really friendly and pleasant. It's a short walk to Busselton jetty and the foreshore, and the main part of town isn't too far away either.
