Busselton Villas & Glamping Village

The villas were comfortable, and the facilities were good, with a pool, games room and playground. Staff were great while we were there, too. The location was convenient, close to both the beach and the city. A coffee van also came by on Saturday morning, which was handy.

We paid $1300 for two tents and two nights, not $130 for a camping space, and won't be coming back. When we arrived for our glamping stay, the kids' extra beds still weren't ready, despite the call a week beforehand and my follow-up two days before arrival. The public kitchen had no light, so we had to cook in the dark. There was also no cleaning service in the public areas over the weekend. I was there for my son's birthday and hoped they'd help tidy the bed so I could decorate the room. Reception didn't answer when I called. Housekeeping said she was flying out and would contact the manager, then later told me to ask reception. After going back and forth, I tidied and decorated the tent myself. Housekeeping came by not long afterward and asked if I needed help. When I said I'd already done it, she replied, “you've done very good job.” Duh!!!?

The park is a short walk through a coded security gate to the beach, and it's across the road from an IGA and a bottle shop. We were satisfied with the main accommodation area. The rooms are dated but spacious. There was an AC problem in our upgraded room, so we were moved back to the room we'd originally booked. The eco tents were in a nicely shaded area with plenty of parking. I'm not sure the price matches the experience, especially since guests still have to use the main ablutions. We stayed for two nights.

We spent our honeymoon night here and they really went above and beyond. Lovely staff, great amenities and a cosy place. We had a good swim in the pool, too. We'll definitely come back. Thanks heaps! 🤗
