The bed was great and very clean, and the rooms have been thought through well. Even a little washing-up bowl was provided, which I appreciated since I hate doing dishes in a bathroom sink. The staff were helpful, and they even let me know our room was ready early. Breakfast was a nice extra, quite basic, but I hadn't expected it. It's a very clean, comfortable motel with lots of little touches. If you're after a good budget place with a bit more, this one is awesome.

Reception was helpful and they provided the basic information. The room was clean and had a microwave, toaster, tea and coffee facilities, and a small fridge. Laundry is available, but rooms aren't serviced daily. The bed was much too hard and uncomfortable. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the jetty and CBD, and also to the Esplanade Hotel. The Ship Inn is a five-minute walk away, and both have good food. If you have mobility issues, ask for a ground-floor room.

The room looked dated, but it was spotlessly clean and had useful things like plates and cutlery. I was a bit unsure about a room right on the highway, but the double glazing worked and traffic noise wasn't a problem. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

The included buffet breakfast was quite acceptable, and the room was spotless and cosy. It's a great location, an easy walk to the centre and foreshore. This was a great find for us.

I stayed for two nights during a motorbike trip. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, and the clean room came with a smart TV, which was a great bonus, YouTube yay! Cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Great value, and I'd definitely recommend it.
