Ocean Suites Byron Bay

The hosts were so attentive and apologetic when we had an issue with the plug in the freestanding bath by the large sliding doors. It wasn’t sealing, so the water drained faster than it could fill. They came back a second time after finding seals, fixed it within an hour or two, and the owner later sent a lovely apology message. After that, my wife had a long soak and could hear the waves from the shore. Thanks so much, Maysoun, you were lovely. My wife and I had a really enjoyable stay in this elegant, romantic suite. Ocean suites has just two units, and the layout was great for a night away together. It’s right in front of a much quieter beach than Byron’s main beach, in a peaceful, friendly neighbourhood. I was initially a bit disappointed to be outside the main part of Byron, since I’d never made the short trip to neighbouring Suffolk Park, but we ended up loving it. Suite 1 looks directly onto the ocean, so I’d recommend paying extra for it if it’s available. Suite 2 is off to the side, though I expect it’s still very nice. The directions were clear, and it’s only ten minutes from Byron. We paid $15 for an Uber after checking in so we could have a few drinks over dinner. The team were super professional, and we’d definitely come back for a few nights next time.
