Palms at Trinity Beach

I booked a three-bedroom apartment for this trip, and it had cookware and tableware for 16-20 people. For those of us who travel and often cook for ourselves, that sort of preparation says a lot about how carefully management tries to keep the accommodation to a high standard. They provided more than enough for our stay, which meant a lot to me and would impress others too. I don't mean that every spot is perfect, since that's nearly impossible, but I was already amazed to find properly sharpened knives and scissors.

Laura and greg look after us so well every time we visit. The location is excellent, the apartments are huge, and the service is great. Highly recommend.

The view from the bed was just as lovely as the one from the apartment, and we spent hours sitting on the porch taking it in. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub was nice, and having a washer and dryer was a great bonus. The kitchen had what we needed for basic cooking, and the pool was a good size, though a little cold during our winter stay. We felt safe on the secured property and in the parking garage, and the management team were friendly and helpful. The kitchen needed cleaning when we arrived, with food stuck to the counters, so I had to clean it before using it. Tiny bugs kept appearing around the kitchen during the week, too. The midweek maid service changed the sheets and towels, but didn't seem to sweep or take out the rubbish. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travellers, though the cleaning was a letdown.

A superb apartment with an ocean view, close to the beach and amenities. Cairns city is about a 20-minute drive away. I'd happily recommend staying here 😃
