Cairns Queens Court

The kitchen was handy for everyone, and the pool was nice and clean. We had a noisy neighbour when we first arrived, but the manager stepped in straightaway to support us. The staff were kind, polite, helpful and very nice. Great accommodation for the price.

Nita and the team were lifesavers after I arrived early for check-in following a stressful morning. They were so accommodating. The facilities are great, with clean showers and toilets separate from the rooms, all kept to a high standard. There’s a communal pool as well. Thanks so much, Nita, for making the stay as pleasant as possible.

The reception staff made a real difference. They were friendly, professional and genuinely helpful, offered great local advice, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. From the moment I arrived, the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to settle in. My room was clean, comfortable and nicely presented, and the resort has a laid-back feel that suits a Cairns getaway. I’d happily recommend Cairns Queens Court Resort and will definitely be back.

The room was as expected, you get what you pay for. The hotel is also a fair walk from the main part of the Esplanade, so be ready for a while on foot in 30° heat. At checkout, the front-of-house lady was rude. She wouldn’t let us go to our bags for our things, and after my partner’s stuff spilled out of his suitcase, she told us to move outside into the heat to repack. There was nobody else around, so it seemed completely unnecessary.
