Elysium Apartments

Our studio was small but had enough room for two, with a king bed, a little balcony and free parking. It was very clean. There wasn't a view from the balcony, though that didn't bother us much since we could spend the day at the beach and couldn't see much at night anyway. The kitchenette had no stove or oven, but for three nights that was fine. I liked having coffee pods for the machine. Palm Cove beach, cafes and restaurants were a 5-10 minute walk away. We enjoyed staying at Elysium apartments and would recommend it for a comfortable, affordable stay in Palm Cove.

The location was great, but I felt we were overcharged. I booked through Eysium without realising the private penthouse was in another resort. We paid a lot and got no service at all. The room was outdated, there was no lift to the third floor with all our luggage, and there was no cleaning during the whole seven days. I was very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it.

Each apartment is privately owned, so this is mostly about U103. The location is good and the town is beautiful, but the little things missing made the stay frustrating. For four people over four days, there were only a couple of tea bags and one tiny packet of dish soap. The kitchen was average, with one damaged Teflon pan for a two bedroom apartment, so we couldn't cook breakfast. The fans only ran at full speed. Check-in is after 2, but the office closes at 2, which I can't figure out. The pool and pool area are small and almost always shaded.

We loved our stay in Elysium’s private room at The Beach Club. It was clean and nicely updated, the facilities were superb, and the service was amazing. After we checked in, someone drove us over to the apartment. We'll definitely be back.
