This review is very late, and I’m sorry, because the property deserves 5/5. We got married there in 2018, and the agent communicated perfectly. Check-in and check-out were easy. They knew about the wedding and even sent gardeners to fix up the dead grass so the place would look great for the big day. I appreciated that so much. The property was phenomenal. Our immediate family and friends stayed with us, and there was comfortable space for everyone. The pool area is stunning, the bar is great, and the extra outdoor bathroom was really handy for guests. Everyone was amazed by the place and the personal touches from the owners. We chose the large room on the left facing the beach, but it didn’t have proper blackout curtains, so it was very bright. That affected us the morning after the wedding, though it didn’t affect our stay as a whole. Thank you for having us. I’ll never forget the home or the incredible memories we made with our family and friends. We can’t wait to come back and make more.

There’s so much natural light and ocean to look at, with beautiful rooms in a sleek, spacious design. The place is right on the beachfront and centrally located, but still feels private. You can fish in the calm ocean right at your doorstep, and the netted beach pool for safe swimming is a short walk from the back gate. There are lots of outdoor spaces for entertaining, or for finding some peace and quiet, along with the private pool and spa. In summer, you can pick organic mangoes from the huge backyard tree. It’s paradise, with real class. I’ve recommended it to countless friends and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I visit Cairns. For me, this place is what comes up when you type 'bliss' into the GPS.

Hi, I’d like to clarify a few things accurately. When you arrived, you made a list of concerns, including that none of the baths or sinks held enough water. The list went on and on. We replaced every plug and dealt with numerous other requests. We also bought and installed a new BBQ for you and gave you a complimentary night. The property was designed by British Architect Andy Hall. F1 drivers, Hollywood stars, royalty, and even Tony Robins, who is extremely hard to please, have stayed here and loved it. Somehow, though, it didn’t meet your standards. I’m sorry you couldn’t enjoy your stay. We did everything we could to help change your mindset. Neither the property nor our efforts deserve the inaccurate account you wrote below.

The place is run down, and we arrived to find a lot of things missing. There was no coffee machine, BBQ, hair dryer, or drinking glasses. The cooktop, spa, fridge, and stereo were broken, the bath wouldn’t hold water, and there were holes in the deck. The fridge ruined our food. When I complained, the response was "too bad, so sad". The owner was supposed to contact me with an apology, but I’m still waiting. Very disappointing.

A lovely setting, and it makes a huge impression when you first see it. It’s good for a week’s stay. You can definitely tell it was designed by a single male.
