Great Northern Hotel

The central location made getting around easy, and there's a supermarket just a few doors away. It's a tidy little hotel and good value, with a comfortable room. The lounge has complimentary coffee and tea, plus bottled water. Wifi was my only small complaint: it was slow now and then, though it worked fine most of the time.

We got there earlier than planned and were able to check into our room early, thanks to the helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, modern-looking, and well maintained. There's complimentary coffee, tea, and biscuits in the lounge, plus free movies on demand, which was a nice extra. The location in Cairns is great, close to convenience stores, boutiques, and restaurants. Free laundry was really handy too. We'd happily recommend staying here.

Getting in after reception hours was very easy. I was glad I chose this hotel for my short Cairns visit, and I'd book it again. Shops, the mall, restaurants, and the marina are all a short walk away. My room was clean and tidy, with thoughtful little details, and complimentary coffee and tea were available. It was very good value for the price.

The staff were so kind and helpful. We met Matteo and Aurora during our two-night stay with family, and we'd definitely return if we're back in Cairns. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and above all, super clean. The location was great too, near the Aquarium and the terminal for reef tours. There's a lounge open 24/7 with a Nespresso coffee machine, biscuits, and water.
