Hilton Palm Cove Cairns Resort & Spa

The pool area was kept looking good by a friendly maintenance man who did an amazing job. The cleaning staff were excellent too, as was the man in charge of breakfast. We had a delightful eight-night stay, and for a four-star hotel it was great. The rooms were clean and recently upgraded. One drawback was the shower over the bath: grab handles would have been a good idea. The garden could perhaps use an extra person to keep it looking pristine. Thank you.

It was about 500 metres from the Esplanade and the restaurants and cafes there. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. The room was reasonable, breakfast was fine and included in my rate, and the stay was good value. I was there for eight nights and found it pleasant. It’s a simple, homely, practical resort and doesn’t pretend to be anything else. I only wish the room cupboards had shelves and that there were a restaurant and bar.

The pool was great, and the slide was a fun touch. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. It was easy to get a car park, though it wasn’t very busy when we visited. Food and the beach were a little bit of a walk away, but I loved staying here last year. Overall, it was amazing!

For the price, this was a lovely stay. The pool was great and clean, and the rooms were tidy. We had a few ants, probably because of the food we’d left out. We hardly needed help from staff, but the ones we met were lovely, especially the receptionists. It’s a short, pleasant walk to the beach. A great resort, highly recommended.
