That balcony was the standout: huge, with good views, two comfy couches and a separate table with benches. The apartment itself was stunning too, with a roomy bedroom, comfortable bed, plenty of storage, a handy washer and dryer in the bathroom, a big sofa, dining table and a great TV with Netflix. I stayed for several weeks in February and March 2020. The level 3 gym had plenty of cardio equipment, including a rowing machine, treadmills and a couple of bikes, plus a fairly large free weights area and lots of cable machines. Outside on the same level were the pool, hot tubs and BBQ area. The pool must be great in good weather. It was about a 10 minute walk to my office on Moore St, which suited me well. There are lots of restaurants and a few bars nearby, but the building sits at the edge of that area so noise stayed pretty low. There’s a park across the road too.

Loved the green outlook from the balcony and how central the apartment was. Parking in the same building was easy, and there’s a pool and gym too. The place was beautiful, stylish and exceptionally well equipped. I’d happily return anytime!

Birch apartments really sets a high standard. I’ve stayed in lots of serviced apartments around Canberra CBD, and none have come close to Jo's. The hospitality was lovely and the service prompt. It felt like a home away from home, and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else!

It’s an easy walk to The Canberra Centre, cafes and restaurants. The apartments are modern and comfortable, with a pool and gym, and parking access is simple and secure.
