There’s a lovely park right across from the building, and the lake is only a five-minute walk away. I’m very happy living here. The communal spaces are well kept, and there’s a nice community feel with activity groups you can join. The downside is poor mobile reception, on Optus at the moment.

The mobile reception in our building was terrible on Optus. So many people were using 4G that it was basically unusable. The complex itself is large, with modern apartments, and our AirBnB was mostly comfortable and well fitted out. There’s secure parking too. The War Memorial is within walking distance, while the city and parliamentary quarter are a very short drive away. It may suit business travellers more than families, although there’s a playground right out back and an excellent one by the Carillon just a couple of minutes away by bike.
