We’ve stayed here a few times and it used to be great, but this visit was a real letdown. Kids’ movies were cancelled every night, the woodfire pizzas weren’t available because there was no one to make them, and the advertised wine tastings didn’t happen. The jumping pillow was locked, and the water park wasn’t working when we arrived. It was fixed after we asked about a discount, but the water slide stairs were rusty and falling apart. One of the two toilet blocks was locked, so in the middle of the night we had to walk across the park to use the other one. The arcade was frustrating too: we couldn’t get cash out or exchange silver coins for gold ones, and the pool table kept eating coins and only worked sometimes. When we asked for our money back, they said it wasn’t their table and they couldn’t do anything. Things seem to be falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and won’t spend my money here again.

The location is ideal for exploring the trails around Cania Gorge, and there are plenty of amenities and activities for kids. The camp kitchens are roomy and clean. Even the showers impressed me, the water pressure was amazing.

We loved our time here and were sad to leave. There’s plenty to see around the area, including the dam and bushwalks, and the park itself has lots of life with kangaroos, emus and beautiful birds. The amenities are clean and easy to access, with lovely hot showers and a great layout for the kitchens and shared spaces. We had an excellent break and will definitely come back. I’d recommend it.

A peaceful spot for couples or families who want a bit of space and nature around them. The park is well kept, with birdlife and kangaroos all around. We had a great break, the amenities were good and the service was friendly.

The kids had a blast with the heated pools, splash park, jumping pillow, outdoor movie and games. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and we’d absolutely stay again. We also loved the kangaroos and bird feeding, and the natural attractions around Cania were great. Cania Dam is a must!
