The rooms are very basic. After driving all day, we arrived at around 7pm and chose the restaurant because it was so convenient while travelling with our baby. The woman serving us at the bar was friendly and accommodating. The food came out reasonably quickly and was okay, with average prices for food and drinks.

We booked a triple room for two nights through Booking, and everything was fine. The staff were very nice and gave us an extra hour for checkout when we were running late in the morning. Thanks.

There are two pool tables if you fancy a game. Beer was well priced, though the smoking area had kind of sticky tables. Had a great time overall, and it brought back that feeling of missing Australia even though I’m Australian and live here. Thirsty travellers looking to wash off the red dirt might enjoy it.

We’d heard about the lunchtime specials here and were very pleased with the fish. It came with a generous amount of tasty salad and not too many chips. The barman was professional and served us politely.
