There was a general feeling among us that we loved the experience. We were eleven women from a Bookclub, doing our annual two-day stayover, something we’ve done for years, often at RACV resorts around Victoria. Campbell house was as good as, or better than, those previous places. The rooms were delightful and the facilities top class. We especially enjoyed holding our Bookclub meeting around the large table in the well-equipped kitchen upstairs, with a fridge big enough for all the food we’d brought. The beds were comfortable, keyless entry worked well, and Castlemaine offered plenty of sights and places to eat.

We left the cars parked the whole time because town was an easy walk away. It was a fab place for a family birthday stay, with plenty of comfy beds, great decor, well-stocked facilities, and even a backyard for the kids.

Donna was so helpful and quick to respond by phone. We were there for three nights with a big family group for a wedding at a local winery, and the house worked brilliantly for both adults and kids. The gorgeous backyard gave us room to relax with a few bubbles while the kids ran around. Everything we needed was close by. We'd happily recommend it and hope to come back.

We had a lovely wedding weekend at Campbell House. All 17 of us fit comfortably, and the big backyard and BBQ area got plenty of use.

The king beds were a hit with everyone, and having air con in every room was much appreciated. I booked it for Christmas with friends, and their surprise at how great the place was made it worth it on its own. It's a huge, comfortable home. One thing to know if mobility is an issue: there are bedrooms on the ground floor, but the kitchen is upstairs.
