Santai Resort - Holiday Management

I loved every moment of this getaway. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the pool was amazing, and dinner at the restaurant was awesome. They even gave us a complimentary ice cream. Such a lovely atmosphere ❤️

This is one of our favourite resorts in Australia, with its great pool and Indonesian feel. We had a pool view from level 3, room 322, which is privately owned. The room was beautifully set up and had everything for two nights, including a washing machine and dryer. The bed was so comfortable. I skipped the spa this time, but used it on my previous stay and found it spacious and relaxing. We booked through booking.com without realising it was a private agency booking, so we had to go to Kingscliff to check in. We could use everything except reception. That's awkward if you run out of something or need help. Next time I'll make sure to book a room owned by the resort. The bathroom is my main gripe: the shower setup leaves the whole floor wet. There were no tissues, just one towel each and one hand towel, and the washing machine leaked after we used it. Even so, I'd definitely give this place a go.

We got a good rate and I'd recommend the property, though I'm not sure I'd pay the top price. Staff were attentive, service was good, and secure car parking was included. The second floor courtyard studio was large, with a king size bed, bbq and Nespresso machine. The beach was a couple of minutes away, with two pools on site. We didn't try the restaurant. Coles, a bottle shop, other cafes and a pizza restaurant were a short walk away.

The pool and lounging area were lovely, and private underground parking had 2.1 clearance, high enough for our rooftop tent. It was quiet, with great curtains and a super comfortable bed. Everything looked just like the pictures, and the open bathtub in the living/bedroom was a highlight. One of my most relaxing stays in Australia!
