There’s a decent-sized fridge and undercover parking, and the place is good value overall. The bedrooms were comfortable, though leaving the doors open helped the small air con unit cool them. Everything was clean and well kept considering the age of the accommodation. The shower ran for less than five minutes, then needed about 15 minutes to warm up for the next family member. The instant coffee was also two years out of date.

I never got as far as checking in. I booked through Agoda in July 2023 for April 2024 and had a confirmed stay, but the address in the email was just an ordinary house. A small sign said the office had moved to the Bistro, so I went there and found the “Cervantes Holiday Homes reception” sign by the entrance, but it was closed. The listed phone number was disconnected. I emailed, asked at the visitor center, and even tried calling the bistro, with no luck. Agoda couldn’t reach the owner either. They gave me a full refund and AgodaCash to book somewhere else, but I’d already lost an hour and a half. The accommodation may be nice, but I couldn’t find out. I’d avoid it.

Didn’t expect it to be this nice: the apartment had been renovated and was comfortable. A 10 out of 10.
