The staff were exceptionally friendly, and we were welcomed with a piece of date slice and a map of the park. It’s peaceful, beautifully maintained and set on the edge of town beside the golf course. The pool and amenities were clean, and the grass was green throughout the park, including the sites. Definitely worth staying.

It’s quiet and close to town, with immaculate facilities and well-kept grassy sites. The park is very well managed. I’d come back if I’m in CT again.

The room had several serious problems. There were hornet nests on the cupboard, and I found ants and dirt on the main bedroom floor. The second bedroom was so cramped you could hardly move, with two double-decker beds packed into it. There wasn’t a TV remote, and at first we couldn’t get the TV working. The bedroom air conditioners seemed okay, but the kitchen unit only blew hot air and looked as if it had never been cleaned or serviced. That felt like a health hazard. There was also a problem with the cancellation. When I arrived to ask about cancelling one night, I was told I had to email. The man I spoke to by phone on the Saturday before we arrived hadn’t told me that, so I didn’t get the $180 refund.

The park is lush and green, with shady trees, generous sites, a pleasant pool and a big camp kitchen. The amenities were clean and well kept, and there’s a coin-operated laundry. Brad and Tanya were great hosts, ready to help and willing to speak up when people broke the rules so everyone could enjoy their stay. That was refreshing. Tanya sells her homemade chocolates in different flavours at reception, and there was homemade slice waiting at check-in too. They put so much effort into the grass and gardens. Honestly, I can’t find much to fault, and I’m not going to go looking hard for something.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times and found the owners welcoming. Dogs are fine as long as they’re kept on a lead. The sites are lovely and green, with the ensuite ones being the best. The shared amenities could use some maintenance. Paint is worn in the showers, and the tiles and grout look very aged. A couple of taps were running slowly and need new washers, all simple fixes. Earlier reviews from over three years ago mentioned similar things.
