Stonewood Villas

These beautiful two-storey, three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartments feel like a home away from home for a family holiday. The bedrooms are big, the surroundings quiet, and the kitchen, laundry, family rooms, and garage are great. There’s a gym on site, a safe environment, and a pool that’s open until 9pm. The duplexes are pet friendly, and the manager is a lovely person. Wi-Fi wasn’t the best, but remember you’re in the outback. I’d recommend staying here with the family.

I was driving to Chinchilla and needed somewhere decent, so I booked a night at stone wood villas. The friendly lady made check-in smooth. I paid a deposit for my dogs, refundable as long as there was no damage, and was amazed by the spacious layout of the two-bedroom villa. I felt so comfortable and safe that I booked another night. Having a garage was great because I knew my car was secure overnight, and the beds were comfortable, I didn’t roll around much, which is a big thing for me. My dogs were happy too. There’s a washing machine and dryer in the unit, so I could have clean clothes during my stay. I wanted to stay longer, maybe for a short or medium stay, but had to move on. The on-site gym and pool were lovely amenities, and I’m very happy it’s pet friendly. Thanks for making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I’ll definitely return!

Our two-bedroom villa was roomy and mostly comfortable, with air conditioning in both bedrooms. The place could have been cleaner, though. There were ants in the kitchen, and the shower over the bath in one bathroom was broken. We couldn’t use the garage, although the website does say it’s available.

These townhouses are really great, clean, and include everything you need for a stay. Bringing my dog along was no hassle at all, they’re truly dog friendly. I hope other dog owners keep it that way by cleaning up after their pets and not letting them damage things.
